She was pianist and répétiteur in “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” (2013) a musical celebrating the music of Neil Sedaka, and “Dusty The Original Pop Diva” (2015) a musical about pop icon Dusty Springfield.

In 2015 Joanna played her melodica in an 80-piece community orchestra as part of the Queensland Music Festival celebration of the City of Logan, “Under This Sky”.

Last year, Joanna played lounge piano at Ryan’s On The Park, in the Treasury Heritage Hotel, for two months.

She is the resident pianist at the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley, and is looking forward to playing her melodica in a Scenic Rim community orchestra, as part of an event associated with the Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast in 2018.

Joanna is originally from England. She was a financial news sub-editor in London from 1993-2008. She then wrote a blog about music, became one half of a duo called Klasik Elastik, and published a book, before settling in Australia, where she teaches and plays piano.
